Our Story
For more than a decade Gordon Lau hosted a weekly game in Hong Kong apartments, on dining tables that were never meant for cards.
The frustrations were always the same. Wood edges digging into forearms halfway through a long session. Cards sliding off the table. Chips scattering after a big pot. The obvious fixes all failed: folding tables meant storing a folding table, felt mats slid around and solved nothing at the edge, and clamp-on rails scarred the table they were clamped to.
The problem was never the surface. It was the edge.
That insight became PULSE: six padded bamboo pieces, wrapped in Premium PU Leather over high-density foam, that you set around the table you already own — and pack into a duffle when the game ends.
Built by people who make things
PULSE was shaped by industrial manufacturing experience at every stage: material sourcing, prototype testing, factory negotiation, quality control. We brought the same discipline to production that a serious player brings to the table. No shortcuts, no cheap substitutions, every detail earning its place.
What happened next
In January 2026 we took PULSE to Kickstarter to find out whether anyone else had the same problem.
The campaign funded in eleven minutes. It closed at HK$760,779 — 1,956% of its goal — backed by 431 people across 28 countries, and was featured on PokerNews.
You can still read the original campaign on Kickstarter.
This store is the second chapter. Same rail, same standards, now available to anyone who hosts.
